Hole Sponsorship $500
For $500 we will select a hole and around the the hole plaque (large rock with hole plaque) the Turf Department will enhance the area with flowers and the sponsor will receive signage on the hole plaque. If you are interested, please contact Brian Bassen at bbassen@strathmoregolfclub.com

Volunteer Adopt-a-Hole
The SGC & Volunteer committee are excited to present the 2011 Volunteer Program and Adopt-a-Hole Program. Through a serious of meetings, the SGC Staff and Volunteer Committee have established a list of 9 key projects, that throughout the year, we will host Volunteer Days to work on and complete. The 9 key projects include: Volunteers for tournaments / Silent Auction, Cleaning tarps on greens, Clearing trees on/along holes: 2, 3 & 7, Front entrance / ditch / clubhouse parking area, Bunkers / Reno’s between holes: 10 &11, Hole 14 & Hole 16, Weed Whack All Areas, Paths to washrooms on Holes 2 / 6 & 13, Fixing / Cleaning Ponds / Creek by #4, and Ball Mark Repair – total repair. Be sure to watch future newsletters and postings within the Clubhouse for scheduled Volunteer Days.
Adopt-A-Hole
- Members will sign up for a hole and only six members per hole will be permitted
- Members will be permitted to: enhance and beautify an adopted hole, through approval, at no cost to the Club
- In addition to their choice of enhancement, Adoptee's will be responsible for: filling divots/replacing divots, repairing ball marks, picking broken tees and such items (at their discretion)
- Adoptee's must submit plans for their ‘Adopted Hole’, with an understanding that it cannot interfere with pace of play or golfers and must be approved by the Volunteer Committee.
